Welcome to Social Anxiety Alliance UK
The charity provides information and resources for individuals suffering from social anxiety and social phobia, alongside providing general educational information on this common yet often under-publicised mental health problem.
We believe we are the first dedicated social anxiety charity in the UK and we are still in the early stages of the journey. We have national ambition to raise awareness, signpost all those that can benefit to appropriate therapy, share free self-help resources, fund a helpline, develop peer support groups in every region.
Currently, as an information and website based charity we currently have no therapists available to help individuals although we do have signposting for therapy at What the NHS Offers and finding a private therapist.
If you need urgent support, please contact the Samaritans 24-hour support line on 116 123 or see our page on Getting help in a crisis.
As a young charity, we do have opportunities to help and support us – please see our opportunities page.
